BrowserDaddy
A local-first Mac browsing intelligence app for a unified history archive and real attention tracking.
Maker note
Why I made this.
I am building a local-first Mac browsing intelligence app that turns browser history and attention into an inspectable archive.
Product contract
What this product promises.
BrowserDaddy helps people understand their browsing history and attention locally across browsers.
- For
- Mac users who want a unified, inspectable record of browsing and attention.
- Outcome
- Review browsing history and attention without sending the archive to a hosted service.
- How
- A native local Mac app extracts browser archives, watches focus and classifies topics only after explicit opt-in.
- Proof
- The public signed Sparkle feed and download serve notarized 0.3.1 build9 with matching DMG bytes. An isolated build4-to-6 Sparkle update and native journey were observed; build9 has not been installed for a new journey.
- Next action
- Download the current public Mac build or use the signed update feed from an older public installation; private-window filtering remains unqualified.
